I got this amazing red tulle from Ohlssons tyger this autumn, it was on sale and I had no idea what to make of it and don't really wear tulle... so consequently I decided to buy some. Not rational at all but I shop on emotion so it just happened. I also had this fun elastic laying around in the stash, it is from Tygverket and I really like the transparent parts.

The making of the skirt was kind of a trial and error with my boyfriend as designer (and apperantly our cat as a model (it was the best close-up photo showing the elastic)). I sewed two layers of tulle on the elastic and added a viscose lining, and then we started shredding and shredding and shredding the length. In the end it got really short and it looked so nice!

I have not used it yet but I think the match with the orange t-shirt I sewed this autumn (fabric Ohlssons tyger, pattern Ruska tee from Breaking the Pattern) is great!

This outfit made me really excited during the photoshoot, so I am glad I had a weak time in autumn when I got the tulle after all.
